In early December, I got a wild hair to paint the above piece for our master bedroom. Truth: I wanted to paint this on the whole wall. But I thought better of that with a still recovering arm. So I chose the largest canvas that would fit above the bed, and painted the wall color the same color as the background on the canvas.
For the bedding I simply pulled color from the painting and added a few navy pillows that I got at home goods as well as a few peacock blue fur pillows from World Market.
The wall color is Ink Well by Sherwin Williams.
