It was 105 degrees when our new Joybird furniture arrived in Arizona. A touch too hot to use, but now that it's cooling down (95 to 100 degrees) we are getting ready to put it in action! And.. we are actually planning our pandemic Thanksgiving outside at the new Kinsey table. Keeping it outside to hopefully keep our small group safe. 

If you know me, you know that one of the reasons I love the clean lines of Joybird furniture, is so that I can add lots of color and pattern to go with it. I added a colorful striped outdoor rug and pillows galore. And of course, patterned tableware is a must!

As the sun gets low in the desert, the light becomes magical. We added rows of string lights to add to the glow.

For additional seating, these SCOUT sofas actually convert into loungers. We love them facing each other for a conversation area at night and a spot to soak up the sun during the day. Of course, I added my Bari J. snake beach towels as an added bonus for daytime and a minky Bari J. blanket for night! Also featured, Bari J. indoor/outdoor bouquet pillows.

Converting these to loungers is as easy as removing the top cushions and putting the back down into the seat.
